How We Heal
Community Stories from Poets Out Loud
6:30 pm Friday December 2nd.2022
Our community has faced one challenge after another in recent years. The devastation and loss from fires, Covid, floods and shattered dreams have left many of us wondering how we’ll pick up the pieces: How We Heal.
The transformative power of creativity has inspired this free performance from Poets Out Loud. We’ll feature First Nations voices, art, music, and poetry from the Northern Rivers. Most importantly, stories from our Community Voices workshops will be front and centre: stories about you.
Featuring WA poet Scott-Patrick Mitchell, First Nations artist Michael Philp, and wisdom keeper Kylie Miles. Hosted by Sarah Temporal.
